🎯 “Would You Choose Each Other Again Today?” 💞

By Kali Gahiga, Life Coach on Couple Relationships

She looked at him across the kitchen table.

Same eyes. Same smile. Same hands holding the morning coffee.

But something felt… different.

Not broken.

Just distant.

Like they had become roommates who used to be lovers.

And then the question hit her like a wave:

“If we met today… would I choose him again?”

Would he choose her?

It wasn’t about regret. It wasn’t even about blame.

It was about something deeper — something most couples never ask until it’s too late.

Because time changes people.

Love isn’t just about who you were when you met.

It’s about who you’re becoming together.

Are you still cheering each other on?

Still curious about each other’s dreams?

Still laughing, still listening, still leaning in?

Or have the small silences grown into invisible walls?

🧩 The truth is, love isn’t a one-time decision. It’s a choice you renew. Every day.

Especially when it’s hard.

Especially when it would be easier to disconnect.

Especially when the world pulls you in opposite directions.

So she looked at him again…

And asked, gently:

“Would you still choose me?”

He paused.

Put down his coffee.

Took her hand.

And whispered:

“Only every day for the rest of my life… But I know we need to grow again. Together.”

🌱 This isn’t a breakup story.

It’s a wake-up call.

If you’re not asking the deep questions, you’re not growing.

And if you're not growing, you’re just existing side by side.

❤️‍🔥 Real love is active. Curious. Intentional. Alive.

Ask yourselves today:

👉 Would we still choose each other?

👉 If not, what needs to change so we can?

Because love doesn’t die.

It drifts.

Unless you both decide to come back to the center — together.

Would you still choose your partner today? Why or why not?
